Orajel™ Baby Non-Medicated Cooling Gels are free of artificial colours, benzocaine, parabens, sugar, sulfates, and dairy products.

To use both formulas, patients should:

1. Wash their hands, then cut the tip of the product tube along the score mark. The product should not be used if the tip is broken or missing.
2. Apply a pea-sized amount using a fingertip or cotton applicator to spread over the gums and massage gently. Orajel™ Baby Daytime and Nighttime Cooling Gels for Infant’s Gums can be applied up to 4 times daily.

Orajel™ Oral Pain Relief Rinse is specifically formulated for the temporary relief of oral pain associated with minor mouth sores and sore throat. It kills bacteria and helps to promote healing by cleansing minor oral wounds.

Orajel™ Oral Pain Relief Rinse is 2X medicated with hydrogen peroxide (an oral debriding and antiseptic) and menthol (oral pain reliever).

To use Orajel™ Oral Pain Relief Rinse, patients should:

1. Remove imprinted safety seal from bottle cap. To remove child-resistant cap, squeeze smooth sides of cap while turning. Reclose cap tightly. Orajel™ Oral Pain Relief Rinse is ready to use—no mixing needed.
2. Adult patients and children 12 years of age and older: swish one-half capful (10 mL) around the mouth over the affected area for at least 1 minute and then spit out. Use up to 4 times daily after meals and at bedtime or as directed by a dentist or healthcare practitioner.

• Products containing peroxides are not recommended for use by children under 12 years of age.
• Do not exceed recommended dosage.
• Do not use this product for more than 7 days unless directed by a dentist or healthcare practitioner.
• Do not swallow. If more than used for rinsing is accidentally swallowed, patients should get medical help or contact poison control centre right away.
• Stop use and consult a healthcare practitioner if irritation, pain, sores, swelling, or redness persists or worsens, or if rash or fever develops. Avoid contact of the product with the eye. Do not use if safety seal is broken or missing.
• KEEP OUT OF REACH OF CHILDREN.
• Store at room temperature.
• Keep away from heat or direct sunlight.

Orajel™ Canker Sore Gel relieves pain caused by canker sores and minor irritations of the mouth and gums.

Orajel™ Canker Sore Gel contains oral pain relievers benzocaine and menthol.

To use Orajel™ Canker Sore Gel, patients should:

1. Open the tube by cutting along the score mark on the tip. The product should not be used if the tube tip is cut prior to opening.
2. Dry the affected area. Apply pea-size amount with cotton swab or clean finger up to 4 times daily or as directed by a healthcare provider. Allow gel to dry for 30-60 seconds into protective film. Patients should not eat for 1 hour following use. Patients must not chew gum or food while numbness persists.

• Orajel™ Canker Sore Gel is flammable: keep away from fire or flame. Avoid smoking during the application and until product has dried.
• Allergy alert: patients should not use this product if they have a history of allergic reaction to benzocaine, or any ingredient in the product. Hypersensitivity/allergy is known to occur. In such case, discontinue use.
• Do not exceed recommended dosage.
• Do not use for more than 7 days unless directed by a physician or healthcare provider.
• Stop use and ask a healthcare provider if:
  • Swelling, rash, or fever develops
  • Irritation, pain, or redness persists or worsens
  • Symptoms do not improve in 7 days
  • The following symptoms appear:
    • Weakness
    • Confusion
    • Headache
    • Difficulty breathing and/or blue-coloured lips or nail beds

These may be signs of methemoglobinemia, a rare disorder, which may appear up to 2 hours after use.

• Avoid contact with eyes; if this happens, rinse thoroughly with water. In case of overdose or allergic reaction, get medical help or contact a poison control centre right away.
• Keep out of reach of children.
• Do not use if Tamper-Evident Tab is open before first use.
• Do not use in children under 12 years of age.
• Do not use this product if you have an allergic reaction to benzocaine or any other ingredient in the product.
