slide image 1

Cavities are extremely common for children.

In fact, 41% of kid's will probably get one between the ages of 2 to 11 years. Many cavities can cause infections. Luckily, your child's teeth are protected with brushing and fluoride, so they avoid most decay. But several other factors can cause cavities to develop on your kid's teeth.

  1. Immature permanent tooth enamel
  2. Total increase in susceptible tooth surfaces
  3. High-sugar diets
  4. Low priority for proper brushing and flossing
  5. Not seeking routine, professional preventative dental care
