What Are Teething Symptoms?

Beyond teeth popping through, your baby might have a mild teething fever—less than 102°F—a runny nose, increased drooling, and/or decreased hunger for solid foods.

Don’t Worry If They’re...

Biting, chewing, or sucking more. If they are rubbing their gums. Or if they are just overall fussy.

It’s Not Teething...

If they have a fever over 102°F, if their appetite has decreased, have a rash somewhere other than on their face, cough or congestion, or uncontrolled diarrhea or vomiting. Contact your pediatrician or healthcare provider.
