What is a strip and will my child like it?
A strip is a form of sore throat relief that quickly dissolves in the mouth with the medicine going straight to the throat to coat and soothe. Strips are ideal for children who don’t like sprays or are too young to safely suck on throat lozenges. It’s just the right size and is very thin to dissolve quickly.

What is pectin?
Pectin is FDA approved as an “oral demulcent” to soothe sore throats. Pectin coats and provides protection of irritated throats.
Pectin is a food ingredient (made from apples) and is an FDA Generally Regarded As Safe (GRAS) ingredient.

Are the strips sugar-free?
Yes. Orajel Kids Sore Throat Relief Strips are sugar-free and do not cause cavities. It’s sweetened with sucralose and acesulfame-K which tastes most like real sugar and is preferred by kids.
